Loved all the flowers and decor!! = )

Thanks Linda -- Your place is very cozy, clean and comfortable. I work at the Guenes Is. Resort, so I know what it takes to keep these places up. You do a great job, we'll tell our friends!

I just wanted to thank you for sharing a little piece of tranquility when we stayed in your cabins last week... Due to fog we never did make it to Cape Flattery but we intended to come back and will happily stay at your resort again. We stayed in the smaller cabin and I slept like a baby. It was so quiet and the double bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed our first cup of coffee sitting by our window looking out.

We also enjoyed our dinner at the Breakwater and our breakfast at the Bay Cafe' ...

Thanks again. When my days are stressed I think of that morning fog, peace and quiet.

Hello Linda...
I just wanted to drop you a line and tell you what a relaxing time I had staying at Straitside last week... I travel frequently and have been in 43 states, and I have discovered that it is becoming harder and harder to find truly relaxing places to stay that are close to much of anything people would really want to see. With so many economic pressures to jump on the "bigger is better" bandwagaon it seems that many of my old favorite towns and get-away places are now noisy, hectic and impersonal (Aspen.. Laguna Beach... Sedona, etc). I realize that maintaining a resort in a true small town that is quite a distance from a population center has major challanges. You have done a wonderful job of maintaining a very comfortable, clean and worry-free place. Not once while I was there did I worry about anything or even feel like I was anywhere but ON VACATION!
So, I just want to say thank you and that you'll see me on my next trip to the Olympic Peninsula... For people who love to get away and be out in nature, I can count on the fingers of one hand the places in the 43 states I have traveled in that offer so many wonderful and different things so accessible and close together. I wish you continued and increased success and I will not be quiet when people ask me where they should got to "get away"! Have a great week...
